Trump won more than a million dollars in winnings on Thursday night, including $100,000 for winning the vineyards of Georgia, according to a report by Forbes.
The winnings were for wineries that had been awarded the Georgia Wine and Spirits Commission’s “Golden Nugget” awards.
Trump won the vineyard award for a win at his Doonbeg, Georgia, golf course.
According to the report, Trump’s winnings came from the sale of his vineyard in January, which he also sold off at a $1 million loss.
Trump’s win was worth between $100 and $150 million, according the report.
President Donald Trump was awarded the winnings from his vineyards at Doonbeeg, the Associated Press reported.
“We were very, very pleased to win the Golden Nugget award.
I was thrilled.
I had been waiting for it for so long, and we were very happy,” Trump told ABC News’ Jonathan Karl in a tweet.”
Congratulations to the Trump Winery for winning in Georgia!
You’re a winner!”
Trump said in the tweet, which was later deleted.
Trump has won nearly $100 billion in wineries since taking office.
In November, he announced his plan to sell off his holdings, including his Palm Beach estate and other assets.
